Job Purpose: Responsible for managing the planning, operation, maintenance, and design of utility infrastructure systems, including water supply, sewage treatment, HVAC, and electrical systems. Ensures efficient operation, compliance with regulatory standards, and support for the overall operational needs of the vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Design
-
Design infrastructure utility services including power, water, wastewater, drainage, district cooling, gas, and telecom.

Assist in developing design briefs, evaluating consultants, providing technical advice for budgeting, and ensuring compliance with development briefs and budget constraints.
2. Operations Management
-
Oversee significant operational areas related to utilities infrastructure.

Ensure continuous and efficient operation aligning with organizational standards.
3. Construction Management
-
Supervise the construction phase of infrastructure utility projects ensuring they meet timelines, budget, and quality specifications.

Support the project delivery team in scheduling, risk management, material compliance, and value engineering.
4. Maintenance Management
-
Direct the operation and maintenance of utility systems, including water supply, sewage treatment, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize performance and minimize downtime.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex utility system issues efficiently.
5. Plant and Machinery Maintenance & Repair

Oversee maintenance and repairs of major plant and machinery.

Supervise employees or contractors, ensuring operational compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
6. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
-
Monitor performance against HSE KPIs within areas of responsibility.

Address noncompliance, enforce corrective actions, and enhance adherence to organizational HSE policies and procedures.
7. Cost Reduction
-
Implement and manage cost reduction and saving initiatives, ensuring optimization strategies do not compromise quality or operational satisfaction.
8. Waste Management
-
Manage aspects of waste management including reduction programs, segregation, compliance, storage, transport, and disposal.
9. Team Management
-
Lead the team to ensure proper implementation of processes and achievement of objectives and standards.

Provide direction, delegate tasks effectively, and remove obstacles to enhance productivity.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (required).

MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred).
Experience:

Minimum of 6-8 years in relevant functions with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities.
